Gloucestershire Centre for Environmental Records is a unique source of information about our county's wildlife and natural environment. We work with local recorders and wildlife groups to collate their sightings, bring together all the available information and build our database of over a million biological records. The database is updated continually and forms the evidence base for a range of biodiversity conservation work.
Please bear with us while we develop our new website. For a short while some of the links will revert you to the homepage whilst we add and update more material from the previous site.
In addition to collating and processing incoming information, we provide data and GIS services to a wide range of organisations and commercial data users. Our aim is to ensure that wildlife knowledge is available for the benefit of biodiversity conservation in Gloucestershire and in a wider, strategic context.
